Turkiye Black Rose known as karagul throughout it’s homeland, has been exclusive to the Gaizantepe Region since it’s arrival in the 1400’s. DNA presents it’s origins to China a variety named Rosa Ordata. Then rumored to have been presented to King Louis the XIV, whom now holds name to the rare rose.

The Rose arrives up in the soil of Eastern Turkiye, along the Mesopotamia Region of the Euphrates River and has decided to only grow in a city with ancient history and special soil; the Black Rose is only known to grow in Halfeti. We have special assistance with the Municipality, Archeologist and our leading Botanist of Turkiye to ensure the process from farming, harvesting and small batch production is to optimal standards. We have armed ourselves with the ancient practices of hydrodistillation and pure artisal work to honor our region and country. Please enjoy the products as much as we have loved growing and creating them. Tesekkurler.
